I’m Ana María Vásquez Valencia, a documentary and travel photographer, audiovisual storyteller, and creative strategist from Colombia. My lens is guided by a deep commitment to capturing visual poetry rooted in real people, ancestral memory, and fleeting light.
With a background in professional audiovisual media and photography, I’ve spent over 12 years creating across disciplines ;photography, film, digital design, and content curation while collaborating with fashion brands, NGOs, ministries, and global creative collectives.
No matter the medium, I stay devoted to the integrity of each story.

✦ Academic Background:
My academic background includes a professional degree in Audiovisual Media (with emphasis in photography), as well as diplomas in Art Direction, Creative Strategic Thinking, and Cinematography for Film from institutions such as the Politécnico Grancolombiano, Escuela Nacional de Cine, Congo Film School, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
